The regular meeting of Strictly Speaking Harrogate was called to order at 7pm on 24 July 2007 in the Cairn Hotel, Harrogate by Garry Ferguson the Sergeant at Arms

C. Officer Training aka Toastmasters Awareness Day (19 August 2007) in York
It was pointed out that this event was open to all members and not just those on the committee. This event is to be held at the York Novotel in the afternoon of 19 August.

D. Area Speaking Competition (23 September 2007) in Manchester
Anthony and Michael explained that if Strictly Harrogate was chartered in time we could be eligible to participate in the Area Speaking Competition in Manchester and they thought we would have a good chance of success. The competition focuses on humorous and table topics.
